A Campain to reframe local civic engagement as a parenting issue,  and give communities innovative tools 

that connect the dots between families' concerns and democracy, with strategies to encourage and 

mobilize parents' informed participation in the democratic process.  

• Will give children and families a series of civic engagement and democracy books, media and programming, in multiple languages, that will be created with and for parents and families from diverse, traditionally marginalized communities.

• Will integrate into the mission, pedagogy and programming offered by community-based organizations that parents depend upon to support their families well-being such as childcare, schools, libraries, health providers and community centers, etc.

• Will offer professional development to community-based practitioners parents already know and trust so they can confidently serve as "Trusted Democracy Messengers" using the tools to launch authentic, non-partisan conversations, and programming that support democracy, civic engagement and informed voting.
